What PromptCache is and where to start
PromptCache helps teams write, organize, and reuse AI prompt templates. You edit prompts in the web app, connect them to Claude Code with one click, or call them from your own code with the REST API or JavaScript SDK.
What you can do
| Goal | Start here |
|---|---|
| Sign up and open your workspace | Getting started |
| Create and publish prompts in the dashboard | Managing prompts |
| Use prompts inside Claude Code | Connect Claude Code |
| Automate prompts in n8n workflows | n8n integration |
| Call PromptCache from your app | JavaScript / TypeScript SDK or Prompts API |
How prompts work
A prompt is a reusable template with placeholders like {{customer_name}}.
- Draft, what you edit day to day in the dashboard.
- Save, updates the draft (your apps read this live copy when they invoke a prompt).
- Publish, saves an immutable snapshot to version history for audit and rollback.
Variables are detected automatically from {{name}} patterns in your template.
